On Saturday 1st May Happipet Services took part in a sponsored Mutt Strutt in aid of RSPCA Bristol Branch and Bristol Dogs and Cats Home. Thank goodness the promised rain did not arrive and we set off in sunshine with our two border terriers Red and Beattie for a three mile walk around the sites of Bristol. Approx. 40 people took part, with an interesting assortment of dogs, some pets and some ‘borrowed’ from the Dogs Home. There was a pit stop (or should I say pet stop) in Castle Park with a drink for the animals and a welcome rest for the walkers. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves, whether two legged or four, and Happipet Services managed to raise the sum of £60.

The RSPCA Bristol Dogs and Cats Home have a mammoth task to raise all their own funds and consequently there are various events throughout the year to help with this. In July Happipet Services will be hosting a stall at Annual Dog Show and Fun Day in Speedwell. This promises to be a great outing for the whole family so come along, meet us and support them.
